I am deeply passionate about how we can share knowledge and research across different groups. With all the research I do, I try to ensure that it makes a positive difference, from changing practice to influencing policy-makers decisions. My research has been covered in national and international media, referenced in the House of Commons, House of Lords and by the London Mayor, has been cited in national government consultations on the private rented sector, and I have given evidence to policymakers including the Equality, Local Government and Communities Committee at the Welsh Assembly.
